Gladfield Peat Smoked Malt is produced in the same manner as their pilsner malt, up until the point of drying, at which stage Peat is introduced to provide the smokey aromas and flavours, which are most widely used in distilling, but are also used added in certain beer styles to provide a smokey flavour and/or aroma.
